Salutations ya'll.

There have been lots of developments the past few days.  Firstly, we've reached 21% of our goal with our Kickstarter campaign in just a couple of days.  This is a huge vote of confidence from our friends and supporters, and all of us here in the Machine are incredibly grateful.  If you're interested in helping out, learn more about the campaign and tell everyone you know about it. 

The next bit of news: We're in the paper!  Creative Loafing's own Perry Tannenbaum gave us a rad shout out.  Check out Perry's little blurb about our upcoming production of The Bald Soprano in the CLog. 

Other than that, all you need to know is that the wheels are turning, the gadgets are going, and the doohickeys are operating at full force.  The Machine is getting ready to crank out some awesome work.

No lie!


Here's the news: Firstly, we secured a location for The Bald Soprano.  Our inaugural production is officially happening at none other than The Patchwerk Playhaus at Century Vintage! 


Secondly, we've started an online pledge drive through Kickstarter  to raise funds for ThomThom (if that bird won't sing).  By pledging you can do all sorts of things: secure a ticket for the show, get an invite to the cast party, or even a singing telegram delivered by Machine Theatre anywhere in the Charlotte area!


Finally, we're trying to get a workshop on the calendar for this summer.  If you think you'd be interested, contact us.  This way we can begin to get an idea of how many folks are interested and we'll be able to keep in touch.

Just like dear ol' Falstaff, we have heard the chimes at midnight.  As a result, Machine Theatre is getting all lubed up and ready as the latest force to be reckoned with in the Charlotte theatre scene.
