In Other News:
hello hello hello!
The Bald Soprano is receding into distant memory and the machine is slamming full speed ahead into the future!

We're planning our first open session workshops, led by resident ninjas Barney Baggett and Barbi Van Schaik, and they promise to be sweaty, guttural and more fun than a hundred church picnics.  We'll be sending out invites soon so be on the look out as space will be limited.

ThomThom(if that bird won't sing) is bubbling and seething in the lab.  We've got absurd buffoonery, dark poetry and rock music coming out of our ears over here! We will be unleashing the beast on Charlotte in mid September at an in-process showing leading up to a full production in 2010. in other words: we are stoked.

Stay tuned for more news about our 2009-2010 season.

ElseWhere:

We'd like to give a big hug, a squeeze and sloppy kisses to some dear friends who are producing theatre in Crown Town and helping others to do the same:

-Queen City Theatre Company have been awesome to us. They have done everything from donate to our kickstarter fund to working box office for The Bald Soprano. These guys know the meaning of community and we can't sing their praises loud enough.  They've got a production of Alter Boyz: the musical going up soon so please go check it out.

C.A.S.T- the Carolina's Actor's Studio Theatre have been holding it down in Plaza-Midwood for years and were major providers of materials for The Bald Soprano.  They have a production of Master Class opening in September and in October they are producing the mighty mighty Marat/Sade! They do really interesting work and their bar is the best!

that's it for now.

Firstly- huge thanks to everyone.  The Bald Soprano was a total success.  We sold out nearly every performance, and what's more- we've made huge strides in our Kickstarter pledge drive.  These two facts point to one great truth- we want to be here, and ya'll like it that way.  Again- huge thanks.

Secondly- be on the lookout for workshops/auditions coming your way. More details forthcoming.
