Barney Baggett

is a Charlotte native.  After receiving a B.A. in Theatre from Greensboro College he moved to southeastern Pennsylvania to apprentice at Touchstone Theatre. Since then, Barney has also worked with Mock Turtle Marionette Theater, Obie award-winning Pig Iron Theatre Company, The Dell 'Arte Company, and was a founding member of The Farm Theatre Company here in Charlotte.  In addition Barney has collaborated with several community and non-profit organizations across the country in the creation of various community-based events, including the Hispanic Arts League of Allentown (PA), The University of Minnesota's Aurora Center, The Raven Project (Eureka, CA), and the town of Bridgeville, CA to name just a few.  Barney is a founding member of the Glasnost Gypsy Marching Band and is recently returned from Ubud, Bali, where he studied traditional Balinese mask carving and Topeng dance.  Barney holds an MFA in Ensemble Physical Theatre from the Dell 'Arte International School of Physical Theatre.

Matt Cosper

A fixture in Charlotte’s art scene for the past decade, Matt’s local directing credits include The Lesson, The Crucible, Hamlet, Coyote Ugly, The Maids, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The New Kid, Macbeth, Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me and Torches as well the original work World Without End.  Matt was a founding artistic director of The Farm Theatre (2001 – 2004) and is writer in residence for NYC’s Brainum Brothers and Sons Theatrical Outfit, which produced his play The Two Sisters or Douglas Merry; next to nothing in 2008 at the Collapsable Hole in Brooklyn and the legendary Ontological-Hysteric Theatre in Manhattan’s East Village.

Robert Haulbrook

Robert Haulbrook is an actor who has performed with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, Barebones, CAST, CPCC , Theatre Charlotte and other local companies.  His widest exposure came in 1999 after entering a contest sponsored by Pillsbury in which participants gave their best giggles (like the Doughboy).  This landed him a spot at The Laugh Factory in LA where he performed with the late Richard Jeni, Marsha Warfield, and dude who played “Skippy” on TV’s “Family Ties”.  Also of note, Robert sang gospel tunes for Tom Brokaw and others at a Texas steakhouse in 1984 during an impromptu performance orchestrated by a wild-eyed Larry Gatlin.

Jon Lindsay

Jon Lindsay Phillips is an American musician, composer, and writer born in Portland, Oregon in 1980.  Classically trained in piano and voice, he plays 7 different instruments and has been composing and performing music since the age of 3.  He holds a BA in English from Queens University of Charlotte and an MFA in Fiction from the School of the Art institute of Chicago.  He has been involved in theatre since 1998 and has served as musical director of over 20 straight plays and musicals, composing original scores for 7 musicals.  He founded the rock band The Young Sons in 2007 and produced their 2008 album "Hearts Inc."  Also in 2008 he joined the band Benji Hughes (New West Records), on keys and vocals, and accompanied Nicole Atkins (Columbia Records) on keys and vocals for several concerts opening for the Avett Brothers (American Recordings) in the southeast, USA.  Lindsay has toured extensively under his own name with his backing band, and is also the lead singer-songwriter of the powerpop group The Catch Fire, formed from members of The Young Sons after the original lineup disbanded. 2009 brought Lindsay's first solo offering, the independently-released EP Magic Winter & the Dirty South, which received critical acclaim. In 2010 he recorded his official full-length debut for Chicago-based label Chocolate Lab Records entitled, Escape From Plaza-Midwood (street date, August 17). Lindsay is also widely known for composing and performing music for television and independent films, such as The Hollywood Dream. Barbi Van Schaik

is a New York native who moved to Charlotte in her early childhood.  She attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts in Theatre.  She also attended the prestigious Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol, England, for graduate-level professional training in classical stage performance, where she received a merit of distinction in Vocal Technique and a Bronze Medal Certification from the British National Fight Association.  Her earliest professional work was with Innovative Theatre- Charlotte's vanguard fringe theatre company.  Ms. Van Schaik is perhaps best known for her role as the Angel in the controversial Charlotte Repertory Theatre production of Angels in America and for her participation in developing and world-premiering several original roles with Charlotte Rep.  Ms. Van Schaik alsp performed in the first US-sanctioned production of Lifegame with Bare Bones Theatre,  conceived and developed by Improbable Theatre UK and Keith Johnstone. Since returning from school abroad she has performed with The Children's Theatre of Charlotte, Epric Arts Repertory Theatre, Cape Fear Regional Theatre and CAST.  In addition Ms. Van Schaik currently works as a wig stylist, a stitcher and theatre crafts person, and voice over artist. She has been recognized and numerously awarded in the categories of Charlotte's Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
